Minutes of the April 2, 2008 Arlington Lion Club Regular Meeting April 2nd, 2008 Minutes by acting secretary Lion Thomes Lion Wiemann, Lion Mathwig, Lion Noack, Lion Harter, Lion Liebl & Lion Thomes in attendance Call to Order Lion President Paul Wiemann Pledge of Allegiance Guest/Member Introductions 1. Becky Lindemann from Wakefield Pork, volunteer speaker of National Pork Board. Talked about animal welfare & economics SEA Lions Business Meeting Secretaries Report MSA as presented with addition that the club declined to advertise in Multiple Convention Booklet Treasurer’s Report MSA as presented Old Business • Major Memorial MSA to have the club vote on a $3000 donation honoring Major. Vote will be held on or before the next meeting • Firehouse Restoration MSA to donate $250 • Fish Fry Update – Estimated profit as of today $2132.22 • Taco Feed accounting - Lion Dan Hislop is to figure out how much profit and notify Lion Pete so a check can be given to the school New Business • Journey for Service Donation MSA $50 donation on Thursday, April 10th @ Thomes Bros. • Multiple District 5M Convention Advertising?
